Hello Everyone! Missions
are very pleased and excited to say that the Salvation Army Pizza Night
is a huge success! Instead of canvassing for people to make casseroles,
salads and desserts our congregation has stepped up to contributing
money and giving the residents at Hope Center pizza and pop once a
month. Turns out this is much more cost effective and really only costs
each member $2.00 a month. They are so grateful and really do enjoy
this. To donate simply add on your donation to your weekly giving and
specify on the back of the envelope that $2.00 or however much you wish
to give is designated for the Missions Pizza Dinner. You can also give
your money to Adrienne, Susan or Rae Marie.
On Tuesday, November 11 from 3-6 and Saturday, November 15 from 11-2 we
have people coming in to help us make Christmas cards for soldiers.
They bring all the supplies you just need to show up. PLEASE pass the
word around or if you would like a flyer to put up just let Adrienne
know. This is so easy and for such a good cause. Keep your eyes open
for information about signing up to help ring bells during the holiday
season and collecting gifts for Operation Bootstrap. Lastly, keep
those non-perishable food donations coming in to the big blue bucket at
the front door. Thank you so much to everyone, we are truly making a
different. We may be small but we are so very mighty. Blessings to
everyone. Adrienne
Next Missions meeting is Sunday, November 9 after Fellowship Hour.
